Artist Statement:

Over the past decade, I’ve made a career from throwing tradition out the window and helping couples feel like they can relax on their wedding day. Whether we’re running through the Tuscan hills or soaking up the sunshine on the California coast, I strive to make art out of your real moments.

A little more about me:

I love to laugh. Often, and usually too loudly. I’m left-handed, and I know how to appreciate a good pun.

I spend my time exploring new recipes in the kitchen, and sharing those cooked meal with friends and family. A perfect day out of office for me is one on the ski slopes, or enjoying a summery mountain–lake dip. If I’m not outside you’ll catch me with my nose in architecture and interior design zines sipping tea.

Oh, and there’s a 100% chance I’ll know I’ve found the right music for your wedding film when I shed a few –okay several– tears.

Inspired by both the purity of capturing love on real film and the spontaneity of life, Carli brings levity and warmth to her super 8 filming while staying true to the medium as a living and breathing art form.

Blending fine artistry with her signature playful candor, Carli captures magic that can not only be seen, but felt. It is apparent that she puts her whole soul into her work, and that the fun and unfiltered quality of super 8 reflects her own personal relationship with the medium.

Subtle masterpieces, her films transport her clients through time and space, evoking memories that were once moments but can now be experienced again for generations to come.

She’s an artist, deeply passionate about and dedicated to her craft. You can tell from the moment she steps behind the camera. Yet this does not take away from the lightheartedness so inherent to her personality. Carli mixes fine and fun in the most natural way.
